Authentic Living (sole proprietorship) · Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India · contact@authenticliving.in

Your practice is personal, and we treat it that way. This policy explains what we collect when you use the Embodied Growth Studio, why, and the choices you have. The Studio is provided by Authentic Living, a sole proprietorship owned by Shilpa G. Manari in Chennai, India. We handle your personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

Your reflections are private

Your reflections are visible only to you when you’re signed in. They aren’t shown in our admin tools, and we don’t read, sell or share them, or use them for marketing or AI training. We would only access them if the law requires it or if you ask us to help with a technical problem involving them.

How we use your information

To create and run your account; to save your progress across devices; to provide and manage your membership, including receipts and renewal reminders; to reply when you contact us; to keep the Studio secure; and to understand, in aggregate, how the Studio is used so we can improve it. We don’t sell your personal data and we don’t show advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers who help us run the Studio, and only for that purpose: our hosting and database provider, Razorpay and PayPal for payments, our email delivery provider, and Google if you choose to sign in with Google. Some of these providers may store or process data outside India, under their own security and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies and browser storage

We use only what the Studio needs to work, such as keeping you signed in and saving guest progress in your browser. We don’t use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

Your account, progress and reflections are kept until you delete your account. Usage information is deleted after about 13 months, and technical error logs after 90 days. Payment and membership records are kept for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting.

Your rights and choices

You can see and update your details on your Account page, and delete your account there at any time; this permanently removes your account, progress and reflections. You can also email us to ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, to withdraw your consent or to raise a concern. We’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

We use encrypted connections, access controls that keep each person’s data visible only to them, and trusted providers. No online service can be perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

The Studio is for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account.

Changes to this policy

If we make important changes, we’ll update this page and, where appropriate, let you know by email.
